On March 16, 2021, Governor DeWine signs new law reducing the statute of limitations for mortgage foreclosures. The impact for lenders is that Ohio Revised Code 2305.06 reduces the statute of limitations for a mortgage from 8 years to 6 years. This law will take effect in 90 days.
